Who likes New Year's Resolutions?

I like to make New Year's Resolutions.  A new year, a new start - it's a refreshing way to approach life.  But often our resolutions can become mundane and monotonous.  Stop eating bad food; Start eating good food; Lose weight; Exercise; Stop this bad habit; No more of that bad thing.  It seems that most resolutions are about changing something negative in our lives.

So why not focus instead on the positive parts of our lives?  This year, consider thinking of some positive resolutions.  If you are reading this blog, you are most likely someone who has compassion on those facing hardships and difficult situations.  A New Year's Resolution to put more action behind your compassion could quickly multiply, spreading your positive attitude to friends and strangers.  (Of course, in the next paragraph, I will shamelessly suggest including the Piedmont Diaper Bank in your positive action, but don't think the challenge is just for our benefit...)  There are lots of ways you can put more action in your compassion and lots of organizations who need help.  Get involved and find ways to use your special talents and interests.

With that thought, the majority of our diapers are donated through diaper drives.  We need people in our community to help host and organize diaper drives at their business, church or school.  It is pretty simple and it is not a huge time commitment, but it has a great impact on others in our community.  We will post later this week with more information about how to organize a diaper drive.  If you want to organize a diaper drive, let us know through the Contact Us page.

And have a Happy New Year!!!!
