Volunteers Needed

We are looking for dedicated volunteers to help us expand the reach of the Piedmont Diaper Bank to provide diapers for babies in need. We would like to establish a presence in more communities and we need local representatives in these areas in order to grow.

To apply, send an email to PiedmontDiaperBank@gmail.com indicating the position you are interested in. Thanks!

Area Drive Coordinator (about 5-10 hours/week)

Responsibilities

· Contact churches, schools and businesses in your area to host diaper drives

· Provide assistance to groups as they organize and promote the drives

· Deliver collection boxes to drive sites and pick up diapers at the end of the drives

· Record inventory of diapers from each drive and report to the PDB

· Coordinate with PDB on delivery of diapers to the bank storage and to donation agencies.

The coordinator is free to work on their own schedule as they coordinate with the organizations, but they may need to be available some during the work day to effectively provide the support for the diaper drives. The coordinator should be able to use MS Word (or another compatible word processing program) and communicate efficiently via email and phone. Training will be provided and the coordinator will work closely with our directors for ongoing support and assistance as needed.

We are specifically looking for coordinators in the following areas: Davidson, Davie, Forsyth (Kernersville), Guilford (Greensboro), Guilford (High Point), Stokes, Surry and Yadkin Counties.
