Our Mission

Welcome to the Piedmont Diaper Bank. Our mission is to provide diapers to aid agencies and health departments in the Piedmont Triad Area of North Carolina. These agencies will then distribute the diapers to families in our community who are unable to afford diapers for their children.

We are just getting started, so please be patient as we develop our website.

FAQs

Why is it important to provide diapers?

This webpage from The Diaper Bank in Connecticut has some great information.

How can I donate diapers?

We hope to have some collection boxes at grocery stores, churches and/or preschools soon. When they are in place, we will post those locations here, so check our website again in a couple weeks. We are also in the process of organizing some diaper drives at area preschools. When we have dates and locations, we will post them as well.

How can I be more involved?

Yea! We’d love to get more people involved! Host a diaper drive at your preschool or volunteer to have a collection box at your business. Contact us for more information.

I work for an aid agency or health department and our clients could benefit from free diapers. How can we get diapers?

Contact us and we’ll figure it out!

I have small children and I need diapers. How can I get diapers?

We provide our diapers to area agencies and allow them to distribute the diapers to individuals. Contact an aid agency to find out how they distribute the diapers. After our first diaper drives, we plan to provide diapers to the Surry County Health Department, the Lewisville Community Assistance Program and the Clemmons Food Pantry. Other organizations may also provide diapers, so if these agencies aren’t convenient, call your local aid agency to find out.
